My black and whites are NOT photographs. If you took time to look in my gallery, you should see the top of the list has a category called, "Traditional Art" - NOTHING in there is a photograph.

I have been shout-praised at many times by viewers in physical galleries for my photograph-like charcoal dry-painting quality; this is awesome, but repeating myself to the same person 3 times, that I'm 'dead serious, its NOT a photograph" can get irritating.

But here on DA, I have been repeatedly denied group gallery posting, because people either don't look at the artist's comments to see the medium I've listed, or actually REFUSE to believe its not a photograph.

THIS is my work:
Photographing live performances and recreating those moments in charcoal
Commissioned with a pre-shot photo to recreate in charcoal
Compiling images in Photoshop to then recreate in charcoal


I've sold many pieces, I've been commissioned for charcoal and acrylic...I've got a mural on permanent display in an Italian restaurant...

What more do I need to do, to make it obvious that my "Traditional Art" works are NOT photographs, without dropping my quality?
