Humboldt - Northbound Overpass

I think this is a truly great photo. Not because it's a bridge, or because of where it was taken, no, but simply because of the beautiful angle and frame.

You have managed to not only capture the sunlight, but also the crisp shadows that were cast by the pillars onto the grass while at the same time catching the soft atmosphere and haze that you see above the water and that melds the bridge into the background.

The way the sun shines in the background, combined with the green-grey of the bridge and the grass in the foreground, you have framed a really nice gradient that essentially blends the entire picture together really, really well.

A truly wonderful composition.
